We are getting ready to start our big transition. Jay has been out of the Army now for 8 months and we finally got the call we have been waiting on since last November!!! He starts the Academy on the 29th of October and will be there for 22 weeks!!! YIKES!! In the meantime Emma, Brody (the dog) and Meagan are headed up to Ohio to live with her parents while Jay is there. Gets us a little closer to him than Atlanta so that we will be able to do some weekend trips.
So the packing has begun. The Moores took a load up with them after Emma's birthday party so hopefully we will be able to fit everything in our 2 cars to get up there. Brody has been there now for a week and Emma has already started asking when she is going to see him again!!
So wish us luck as we begin our new adventure and keep your fingers, toes and eyes crossed that we will get assigned a place that is somewhere in our top 10!
