HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

We hope that everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving and that you were able to spend some time with family and friends over the long weekend. It is at a time like this that Jay and I are truly thankful each and every one of our friends and family and the love and support they have shown us during this major time of transition.
It was a very eventful weekend for us since Jay was able to take a break from classes and drive over to Ohio to spend the weekend with Emma and I at my parents house. My brother David and his wife, Korina, came into town from Columbus, OH and were here Thursday and Friday. Then we all got ready for the great weekend of rivalries......Ohio State/Michigan (GO BUCKEYES!)....S. Carolina/Clemson (GO COCKS!....unfortunately not a great game)....and then the game of all games...AUBURN/BAMA.... WAAAAARRRRRRRR EAGLE!!!!
Emma had so much fun cheering during the Auburn/Alabama game that she wore herself out!
GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!

We are gearing up for the holiday season as I face another season of doing all the Christmas shopping. I have come to conclude that Jay somehow manages to be gone at this time of year over and over!! :)

Emma was thrilled to have Daddy here for the long weekend and enjoyed taking practically every nap with him! Of course it didn't take much convincing on her part to get him to lay with her every afternoon!

Since it is officially after Thanksgiving we started the annual Christmas decorating with Nana (Meagan's Mom). Emma has been learning the song "Jesus Loves Me" and insisted that she be the one to put Baby Jesus into his bed in Nana's nativity scene.
MERRY CHRISTMAS YA'LL!!!!!!!!
