I am finally getting around to posting pictures, etc. from our trip to Garden City, SC the first week of August.....better late than never is what I always say!
So we began our trip in Minneapolis and flew down to Atlanta where we had a 3 hour layover. Was great snce Jay's fmily was able to comeup to the airport and eat dinner with us. Well our 3 hour layover turned into a little over 5 hours. We did not get to Charleston until 3am and not to my Aunt's house until almost 430am. By the time we got to bed it was 5am. An hour longer and we could have seen the sun come up!!
Overall it was a great trip. We had our annual cookout with the entire Moore/McCutchen families. A wonderful night out to seafood at our usual place Nance's. And many hours of playing Wii. Fun time had by all. Emma, Connor and Sam helped Grandaddy once again make homemade ice cream...this year we made strawberry. AJay, Emma and I were lucky enough to stay an extra couple of days after everyone had left and hung out with my Aunt Mary and Uncle Bobby. Even took and afternoon to go out on the river in their new boat! And we did get our yearly family pictures taken with Julie at Fabulous Reflections by Julie. So we hopefully will be sending out beach picture Christmas cards. Emma did fabulous getting her 4 year old picutres taken as well.
