Children's Museum with Maddie

Yesterday we ventured out to the Minnesota Children's Museum. The girls had a GREAT time and got to do lots of fun stuff! Here they are making paper. You put pulp into these little frames and then put them thru a press that squeezes all the water out. When it eventually dries it is paper! They made paper crowns that they wore all around the museum...almost the whole time.
Ready to go play at the water tables!

This is a water ramp where they learn about how a dam works. You place a boat behind the dam and let the water build up then raise the dam and the boat goes shooting down the ramp into a pool at the bottom. The girl's boats were too fast for me to catch the boat in the picture!
After face painting...which turned into hand painting as well!
Hanging out in a boat the the Gullah exhibit.
Shopping at the Market Place....Maddie was the grocery check out clerk and Emma was the shopper. Maddie taking Papa's order at the restaurant.
Emma cooking Papa's order.
Dancing in front of the blue screen...video is later in the post.
The 2 little puppies in the doghouse!
Taking time to pose with Clifford the Big Red Dog.
Eating some of Clifford's bones!
Lunch at McDs just outside the museum....posing with Ronald!
This is what a full day at the Children's Museum will do to you!

And finally we will leave you with a video of Emma and Maddie dancin' to Proud Mary. At the Children's Museum they have a blue screen the kids can get in front of and watch themselves with changing backgrounds on a TV up in front of them!
