Well the day has finally come that Emma was going to get her big surprise from Mimi & Papa. Jay's parents are here till next Wednesday and we have been telling Emma that they were bringing her an extra special surprise when they came to visit.
Every time Emma has talked to Mimi she has been telling her not to forget her surprise and be sure not to pack it in her suitcase so that she can get it when we pick them up from the airport. She even told Mimi that she should out it in her pocket!
Well we picked them up this afternoon from the airport and Emma could hardly believe her eyes...she was speechless (which is quite a feat for Emma!) The surprise was........MADDIE!!! Her cousin Maddie had flown up with them too spend a week with us as well!
They have been playing non-stop since we got the 2 of them out of the car. Tonite we are going to let them try and sleep in the same room together...hopefully there will be some sleeping going on but they have been quite chatty all afternoon and evening.
