The last Wednesday in August we took Emma to the Minnesota State Fair. Earlier that day she had her 5 year old checkup. She is growing like a weed. I will have to pull out the stats and post those once I find them again.
So as a reward for her being so brave for her 4 shots that she got that morning we took her to the fair. She had been asking to go for weeks since they have been advertising the Great Minnesota Get-Together (that is what they like to call it here) FOREVER!

There was a Pirate obstacle course that they could do and this big slide is the exit point. This was one of her favorites last year as well.

We stopped by the KARE11 (local news station) barn and saw Belinda Jensen doing the news. Too bad Sven Sundgaard was not there (the weather guy)!!!

It was a great night and we are excited for next year when Jimmy will be able to ride some of the rides with Emma. Should be LOTS of fun as always!!

You missed Steve Hutchinson (plays for the vikings) and his family by a few days!! We went to middle school together and I saw his pics last week. Too Funny that I know 2 people who took their families to the MN state fair!! LOL..Looks like y'all had lots of fun though :-)
So fun! The only thing that I can think of when I read the title of this post is Jeff Dunham and the jalepeno...on a stick!
