August 19 - 25th we took a road trip with the 2 kids over to Cincinnati, OH to visit my parents before my Dad retires. Hard to believe that Dad worked for International Paper Co. for over 40 years!! Not something you see very often anymore. The kiddos did great on the drive. We drove to Peoria, IL on Wednesday when Jay got off work and then we headed on into OH on Thursday morning. Got to Mom and Dad's house around 4pm. 
Emma after playing in Nana's make-up!! She said that she was beautiful. Mom said her face was priceless when Emma put the blush brush on her cheeks and color came off.

Jay ran in a 5k in Covington, KY/Cincinnati benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cincinnati. Emma ran in the fun run too.

We went to lunch that afternoon at The Golden Lamb for my birthday. A very neat place. If you are ever in Lebanon, OH it is a must see/eat place. Quite a few presidents have eaten or even stayed there (rooms upstairs).
