Thanksgiving with The Moores

I am finally getting around to posting pictures from Thanksgiving....and it was only 2 weeks ago!! Better late than never.

So we made the trip to Ohio snce the Dr. gave me the OK that Monday. So Tuesday evening we were off to make our 2 day trek to warmer weather with Mom and Dad. Thank goodness my Uncle, his wife and my sister-in-law Tiffany all work for Marriott, otherwise it could have been a very expensive trip. We finally made it to my parents house about 4:30pm in Wednesday. Which was nice since it gave all of us (especially Emma) the extra day to unwind after being cooped up in the car before the big Turkey Day feast!

My sister, Tara, drove up from South Carolina with her 2 boys, Sam-7 and Connor-5. And my brother David and his wife Korina were able to come down from Columbus for 2 days as well. You will see from the pics below that all the kids are huge fans of Uncle "D' and just assume use him as a jungle gym.

They also enjoyed the time helping Nana cook dinner and even helped her make the biscuits!

As usual, after the Thanksgiving festivities the kids helped Nana decorate the Christmas tree and arrange her HUGE nativity scene on the foyer table. For Emma the highlight is putting Baby Jesus in his "bed." Something she got to do last year as well since she and I were still living there.

Overall it was a great trip and something that I really needed since we are not going to be able to travel anywhere for Christmas since it will be so close to my due date. This will be the first Christmas since Jay and I were married in 2001 that we have not traveled to either GA, SC or OH. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and enjoyed time with their families and are having a blessed holiday season so far.

It was a very exciting and tiring weekend for us all...but I guess it finally got to be too much as she thought she would take a little catnap in the middle of some pictures!
